| Vessel Membership is designed specifically for owners, operators, lease proprietors and management firms involved in the management of shipboard operations of passenger vessels on the waterways of the United States/and or Canada. Carrying over 200 million passengers each year, our vessel members operate car and passenger ferries, dinner cruise ships, tour and excursion vessels, charter boats, whale watching and eco-tour boats, overnight cruise ships, amphibious craft, windjammers, day sailing and gaming vessels.
International Vessel Membership is available to passenger vessel companies that operate vessels which are not registered in the United States or Canada but still wish to be kept abreast of important industry issues.
Vessel Development Membership is designed for individuals who are in the process of building a vessel but are not in the passenger vessel business quite yet. The dues structure is similar to the Vessel Membership structure, which is based on the vessel’s total passenger capacity. To get your vessel up-and-running, Vessel Development Members will be given full access to the the Passenger Vessel Association staff and other resources such as the PVA Legal Hotline and the PVA Endorsed Insurance Program. When your vessel is completed and you are operating, the Passenger Vessel Association will convert your membership to Vessel Membership.
Individual Membership is available to individuals who are retired, employed by or separated from a member passenger vessel company.
